I used one the first year I had the Monte. It did reduce the movement some but by no means did it eliminate it. There was still noticible movement when walking. And a lot of movement when the clothes dryer was spinning. I paid something over $120 8 yrs ago as I remember and felt it was one of the better ones at the time. Sold it after a year and installed struts (JTStrongarm) on the legs and stabilizers and never regretted it.
