It's been 9 months for us full timing and live in Ontario, Canada.
We love it and spend most of the time in Rio Grande Valley.
On a scale of 1 to 10. I would definitely so far say a 10!

Full timing, stationary since July. Scale of 1-10...10! We’re loving it. We’ve got a Monty Mountaineer RKD.

Bob the Dog and myself have been fulltiming it about 9 years now in SOB and we love it, are experience has been great but need to find a better trailer so we are waiting for the Quartzsite RV show and want to look at the Montana Trailers and others, we have learned so much from this forum and going back and reading past posts. We got a grip on what to look for a will have a good idea when the Salesperson is blowing smoke and will see how he answers.
We will be going out to Palmosa Road and talking to the folks at the Quartzsite RV Circle and see how folks have fixed up their Montana's for Boondocking and such.

Terry and I started Full timing July of this year, 2019. I’m totally on the fence with this. From super busy life getting house ready to sell before,, to being in a remote area where there is nothing to do, we are bored. Stuck here for 1 1/2 months then hopefully move on. Will update this then. I love my Monty definitely.. to scale this would not be fair at this time. I do miss my house kitchen, but making this work.

We have been full-timing for 26 months...love it! Most of the time, it’s a 9 or 10. We will continue till it’s no fun anymore or we physically can’t do it.
BTW...this is a heck of a thread! Original post in 2006!

Desert Rat,
We just got our 3812MS last Dec. we love it. You have closet space that doesn’t end. Great layout. Love the window in the hallway and the access you have with the slides in. Can get to the frig, bathroom and bedroom.

My wife and I have been full time in our 3810MS since Jan 2019. Loving every minute of it. Don’t miss a house at all. Currently stationary with a little bit of travel in the Houston and Katy, TX area. Will begin the travel portion in Jan 2021 on a regular basis. Just wrapping up the work thing until full retirement sets in.

Mark. 10 months along for work life. I would rate the downsized life a 4, but still working so campgrounds aren’t as recreational and nice as selected retreats. A -40 for RV hassle and repair, stress to plan repairs etc

Made the Leap
Just went full time in January in a 3121RL. Loving it so far. This site has made it so much easier. We have had a few problems but we were able to work through them with the expert help of members of this site!
