Maybe cable TV today!

Woo Hoo!!!! I see the GCI cable man out here in the campground. I think he's turning on the cable for the RV park. Since the only campers are us and the folks next door (and we've both arrived in the last 10 or 12 days) there hasn't been cable to the RV sites. That's a changin'! Oh, I haven't seen TV since the first week in Febuary. Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! All I need to do now is run to the campground office and get that digital box for GCI. Woo Hoo! I am one happy camper! And, yes, that is an intended pun!

Gee, you learned all about life before television. I remember the first one I saw, round screen, black and white, fuzzy picture when you got one. It was still several years before one adorned our household. Glad you are gonna get your "soaps fix". Cable will also bring speedy internet too, if you choose to use it.

No soaps for me. Can't stand them! I'm needing my American Idol fix!!!! And the evening news. I'm a news junkie. And Little People, Big World. Like that one too. And John and Kate Plus 8. Lord bless her. 8 children! 6 of them are 3 years old! I love to watch them. They are so cute! And Deadliest Catch. Well, that's right here at home!
Oh boy!

It is improving Bingo! And, I can hold off on my Hillbilly Ride for a while. We joined a new church a few weeks ago and one of our new friends at church is a boat owner/captian. Guess who asked us to go cruising in the ocean??? Woo Hoo!!!!

And we are taking a dinner cruise on May 17th to Fox Island for Bernie's work. I know, it's tough, but somebody's gotta do it. Thing is there's a silent auction and I think Berne is going to expect me to be just that - SILENT!

Life is good!

Life is definitely good, and don't forget to thank the one that gives it to us undeservingly. Hope you have a blast as it sounds like the trials and tribulations of the winter are happily ending. Blessings!!

So long "crappy" outlook. Hello fun time.

1947, 48, I would lay on the livingroom floor listening to "The Shadow," and "Green Lantern," and "Batman," doing my homework. I'd be there for hours because I did more listening then homework, but the homework got don.

Sometime in 48, Dad bought one of those contraptions that looked like a milk bottle bottom in design. Later in life I called it a "modulated milk bottle." He had to get permission to put up the antenna from the landlord. I really got concerned when he took aluminu foil and wrapped it around the antenna lead. But then, he cleared up the picture by sliding the foil up or down that lead until the picture was clearer. It wasn't until later in life that I finally understood that principle. I don't think he did, but knew it would work.

Well, I have to go now. DW just told me "American Idol," is on.

Nah! Na! Na! Nah! Na! Na!

I'm watching Deal or No Deal and recording AI on DVR. I'll be able to skip the commercials and get to the meat of the matter.

No, I will not read this thread again tonight thinking you will post who got eliminated!!!!!

I can't figure out why that little rat haired kid, Jaso, keeps sticking around. Carly is so much better than he is. DW says it's the young teenagers voting for him because he's cute.
