Generator

We just ordered our first MHC 375FL and does anyone know what Generator Ready includes ? What we will have to buy later besides the Generator and Should we have it installed now during the build or wait until later?
Thanks in advance.

Metal shroud(firewall) in generator compartment, transfer switch and control panel for gen. Generally this is for the onboard Onan 5.5kw generator. If this is what you are contemplating then having the factory install during build is much easier.

Newbie here

Where is the transfer switch located? I just purchased a 2011 347tht in excellent condition. there is a Onan 5500 LP generator installed but im not sure if it was factory installed. the remote start switch is located in the bedroom near the washer/dryer hook up. The previous owner never used the generator and they owned the camper for 4 yrs. I just want to check everything out before trying to fire it up. Any insight and education is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Mine was installed after market, and the switch was located behind the panel in the bay that covers all the electrical. You can usually just follow the wires and get close. We only have one short trip on our new to us 2014 3150RL and I have to say the genset uses a fair amount of propane.
