Stained Glass Window

I would like to hear from everyone that has a stained glass window in their door. How long have you had it? How has it lasted? I am wondering about bumping down the road with one and how it handles all the rough roads, etc?

Several of us installed them when we were at Quartzsite in January of 2010. So far ours has held up well and has not leaked. I guess it would all depend on how well it is sealed when putting it back in.

We have had ours for over three years and it is holding up fine. One small crack that we put scotch tape over and you can't even see it. Ours was made by a tavelling couple in San Diego. We did not get ours from Mexico!!!!!! I don't know how those hold up.......They do add a little class to the unit. They are also pretty and you can pretty much get what you want and are into......Shows some personality...........

Just to be on the safe side, we kept our original glass and if anything should happen to ours the gal that made it will fix whatever happens.. Not a problem since we come back to Florida every year and she is about 50 miles from us.

We got ours at the fall rally last fall. love it and no leaks. If I can find the address of the folks that were selling them we might have them back this fall... Dave

My Mexican made window has been installed over 4 years and 30,000 miles. Still in good shape.

You all talk about your stained glass windows, but how about some pictures to show them off.

Here is our picture. We had it made to order in Florida and price was $195.00 Lots of beveled glass in this one or it would not have cost as much.

You want pictures? You got pictures. Here at the Spring Rally there are lots of us with stained glass windows. This is a just a small sample of what is available in Los Algodones, Mexico. Join us at the "Circling of the Montanas" next January in Quartzsite, AZ and get your own unique window.

WOW, thanks Carl N Susan, what great windows. Would love to join you all at the Q, but would probably have to come by myself, dont think DW would want to be gone for that long.

We are taking delivery of a 2010 Monty 3665RE in a couple weeks.

Anybody know the Monty window measurements for one of these windows? These look very unique and a good way to personalize our Monty.

Cheers ...
