Docking lights

While getting a warrenty repair on the AC (blower motor) we saw a new Cougar. It has "docking lights" I can recall a couple of early morning hookups and late departures where that would have been very welcome.
FYI if you have a problem with the AC blower not running there seems to have been a bad batch (they seize). Dealer says he has seen this often and it took 4 weeks to get a replacement "blower motor kit" from Dometic.

Mike,

Under the front, near the king pin?

Should be an easy add-on. The power leads are right there.

My late 06 3400 has "A" light right next to the front compartment. It looks like if the Tv was near the hitch it would light up the bed of the truck...never tried it.Hope we never have to hook or unhook at night????

The cargo lamp on our GMC puts plenty of light on the whole front of the Monty early am or late pm. I have backed up to another brand at the dealer to deliever it and do not like a light shinning back at me. It makes it hard to see at night trying to hookup. Just my opinion. A lot of different brand trucks offer the cargo lamp.
