slide problem

Hi Everybody;

I just had a question about my living room slide. When I bring it in, the right side of the sideout floor, near the tv lifts up approx 2 inches from the trailer floor. I have check underneath the slide when it is out, and nothing seems to be broken, also when it goes out it sits fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

Larry,

Is the slide even, along the seals, on the outside, when in? Or is there a gap?

I'm not sure why just the one side of it comes up. But I know that the bedroom slide in this rig always rises up noticeably when it's moving. It's just the friction of sliding over the floor and seal.

I can't recall exactly what happens and when with the other two slides, though I know they're up away from the floor a bit when in. But as long as they fit tight when in, and the molding is tight against the walls when out, any motion is probably fine.

It slides along a Teflon runner at the edge of the flooring. Hence the freedom of motion.

Now, if it starts making grinding noises, there might be a problem.

Others may have further info on it, but I wouldn't worry about the raising up at the edge.

Steve

It seems to be fine from the outside, it just seemed strange that it only lifted from one side on the inside.

Keep an eye on it to see if something develops.

Have you looked to see how even it is against the left and right side seals? It should be pretty much centered on the opening.
