Minnesota in May

I plan on taking my son fishing in Minnesota for his birthday in May next year. Anyone know of an rv park in the Ely or Glendale areas. Recommendation from a friend suggested the lakes by these two towns. I've not been there but I've heard the fishing is very good. All input is appreciated.

Can't give you a recommendation on a park, but they told you right about the fishing. A friend owns the DQ in Ely and I just love fried walleye.

Haven't RV camped so can't offer help there but if you need an outfitter our Boy Scout troop has had good experience with River Point Outfitters. The scouts also enjoyed the DQ in Ely.
