One of the nicest campgrounds I have stayed at bar none. Lots of room, nice big sites, full hookup, good prices, great beach, lots of birds. Nature trail.

It's at Cape Charles VA on the Delmarva peninsula just north of the Bay bridge and tunnel. It used to the ferry dock from Norfolk before they built the bridge. The breakwater is made from 9 concrete liberty ships sunk in a row.

I would highly recommend this campground. I like it better than Cherrystone which is about ten miles north of it.

I have also stayed there a few years ago. I would like to go back but I get a little nervous because I have to cross the Bay Bridge Tunnel and there isn't much room inside the tunnel for error, it was hard enough just towing a TT thru there.
