The Monty is Home!

We did it! The Monty 2955RL is sitting on the pad next to there garage. Nancy and I had the pad poured almost 25 years ago waiting for this moment today.

The Pull-Rite hitch is AMAZING! Complete 90 degree jackknife and still had about 8" to the cab. The bed rail clearance is about 7 to 8". Had to take the bed cover off because the rail stuck in about three inches. I can work on that later.

Gee that thing is BIG, but very manageable. We had trouble with the first hitching. It was my fault, I needed to hit it a little harder.

The diesel was fantastic. The Timbrenes kicked in just fine. When the Monty was hooked up it settled level. Really no squat.

But I was really proud of myself. Two shots to get it in the driveway. Its down and powered up.

WE DID IT!!! More to come later!!!!

Congratulations on the Monty and for putting it in its place. I especially tip my hat to you for the latter. The PullRite is indeed an amazing hitch, worth every penny!

And, yep, they are BIG!

You have to like it when a plan comes together....congratulations on the new Monty and the many happy miles to come. Was not that long ago that we were where you are except I had to put mine on the pad after dark, had to use a couple of more vehicles to light up the driveway, made it in on the first try.

Congratulations!

You have made a good choice with the Montana, the 2955RL and the Chevrolet Duramax with Allison. All part of a fine package.

Let us see a picture soon.
