What is Geenerator Ready?

HI, I just took delivery of a Montana High Country 375FL and it was advertised and listed as being generator ready. I see no wiring or anything else that would make it Generator Ready? Does anyone know what that phrase means?

Usually Generator ready means the unit is ready for a generator to be installed. I would say the following has been added. Sheet metal enclosure installed in one of your front storage areas. Remote start switch installed somewhere in the rig. Maybe with other light switches maybe in bedroom closet or kitchen. No rhyme or reason where they may put the remote on/off switch. They should also have installed a transfer switch.
Do you get a fairly loud humming noise when plugged into a 110v pedestal? If so that is usually cause by the transfer switch, mine is located under the stairs. This information should be enough to at least determine if it actually is gen ready.
Enjoy your new unit, congratulations and happy roads to you.

Basically it means it's not going to cost you as much to add an onboard generator as it would if they didn't do the prep, but there's still work to do.
