Driver Training

Does anyone know a good 5th wheel driver training program in Washington or Oregon?

I would contact a local truck driving school, that's what I did when I picked up my rig in Alaska, in fact, that was my first stop........

Whenever you contact someone, ask lots of questions, especially about the things you want to learn. If you don't think you got good answers, go somewhere else. There are to many out their just trying to make a fast $$.

If you study the CDL handbook (yes, I know you don't need a CDL) you will get some valuable information that can only help you. Study it before you take any lessons or tests.

Good luck.

There is a truck driving school in Hillsboro, Oregon that is a good one. They train a lot of drivers. It is called "Elite Truck Driving School."

HOWEVER, it is NOT cheap. I saw an ad from them, the class was $3500.00. I do now know if they would do it for less to learn how to drive a fifth wheel or not. Wouldn't hurt to ask........!
