Hoist the Sail, Matey!!!!

Today I helped "Hoist the Sail" on the Schooner Margaret Todd for a VERY peaceful sailing trip around Frenchman Bay and around the islands there. Margaret Todd is a 151 foot 4 mast schooner with over 4500 yards of sail. We were able to take Villa with us and she was great. A little leery of the metal grating on the dock and she tiptoed across it. We then had ANOTHER lobster at the Trenton lobster pound. I won't tell you how big mine was but it WAS great!!!! Another week here in Bar Harbor, then we roll, (literally), down the road to New Hampshire.......

Your having a lot of fun...wish we were traveling with you. Did a 4 day trip to Greenfield Park, NY (Skyway) 2 days of rain...been at rough year on us part-timers.

noneck, You are absolutely correct, We are having the time of our lives. I think as a fulltimer we tend to overlook some of the bad weather. If it is raining, we just stay at home and go out the next day. As a partimer, it is hard to ignore the weather. One year in Alaska, it was rainy for 13 of our 14 summer weekends and Cathy and I both worked M-F days. What a rotten summer that was. Hang in there!!!! It will all coe out in the wash!!!!
