Just got back from a trip to Rocky Point Mexico where the daytime temps were around 100 and the nights cooled down to the high 70's. We have a 15000 ducted rear and a 13500 bedroom A/C. We would open up the vents on the rear unit during the hottest time and kick the bedroom A/C on to assist. Most of the time the bedroom one was off though. Our last unit only had one 13500 ducted unit and while it worked fine, it took quite some time to cool off. The double A/C set up is great for quick cool downs and nap time. Only draw back to having the rear unit vents open was the noise. But then again it beats sweating.
