I know how you must feel. I did the same thing to my 1998 dodge. I had traveled about 100 miles and came to a stop. when I started to move again, i heard a loud noise, my trailer dropped into the bed. Had to replace the bed, and had minor damage to the trailer. I had problems with the hitch locking in the past. thought i had it fixed. I repaced it with a new hitch and junked the old one, didn't want anyone to try to use it.
