4th, same as the Sat series

Therse are the E-mail size directly from Photobucket:
Resized series on Sat radio:

This looks big as well, is this too big?? I just want to see if Photobucket has the tools to do it directly as I copy my pictures.
Edit by Ozz
NOW, on the second edit, the pictures shrunk!!!!!!!!!!!
They were Twice as large, then when I posted, they were smaller....
This must be the E-mail size, and it just could have taken a little time or them to shrink.....I'll never understand this mess.

You will figure this out YET!

The large size you are being told about. Do this. Place cursor over a photo, I chose the top one, with light hanging out of wall.

While cursor is over it, right click on your mouse, it will give you a list of choices, go to PROPERTIES.

You will see that the properties for that one photo are 91765 bytes. That is rather large for the forum, half that would be at the outer limits. (For those on cell phone connections, these would take forever to load, been there, done that, will do again! HA HA)

On my web pages, I try to get the bytes on a single photo down to around 15,000 to 20,000. I have on occasion gone a bit larger, but I try not too.

I have never used photobucket, so cannot help you there. I use Adobe Photoshop for my photo reducing, editing, fixing, etc. I'll bet your computer has a program like Adobe, maybe the software that came with your digital camera??

Good luck, you are getting computer savy, just a bit further to go!

Carol,
Thanks for the tip on the properties, didn't know that worked that way.
But now, it's 51,000 and some bites, did it re-size itself, maybe? Is that still too big?
I just re-read your post, I got it about the 15,000 bites now.
I guess that is why we do the hyper link deal.

Ozz,

I am still getting 91,000,not 15,000

let me try a re-fresh on the page.

ON EDIT: Now, I see 51,000

yes, that is better.

depends on the software, etc. 15,000 may reduce to the point of not being able to see, as you are not only shrinking the bytes, but the physical size that shows on the screen.

I just LOVE the learning scale! NOT!!!!

When you actually EDIT the photos overall size, length and width, you automatically reduce the number of pixels.

By just changing the numbers ex..800 X 600 down to 400 X 300 only reduces what you are actually seeing but does nothing to reduce the number of pixels. The entire picture is still there with all it's pixels.

Does that make sense??
