Visit to Camper City

After our first spring weekend in the Montana just couldn't resist stopping by our dealers to take a peek at the new units. Afterall it was just off the expressway on our way home. There was lots of activity on the lot and we were warmly greeted by employees. So nice to have a friendly dealer in your area. We are certainly going to miss this when we sell our home and leave the area. We oohhed and ahhed over the new units but even after reading this forum I almosst fell on my face when we went into the 3650RK and I forgot someone had mentioned the sunken kitchen. Nice floorplan, but don't think I would want the liability of warning all guest to watch their step going into the kitchen.
After this past weekend we had also decided the 3295RK was as large a unit as we wanted to handle when maneuvering in campgrounds. We were happy to see the new flooring at the entry doors in place of carpeting, but don't understand why Keystone left that one section of carpet between the entry and kitchen in the 3295RK. Would be much nicer to have the vinyl all the way from the entry door to the kitchen. When we left we decided we were still very content with our 2003 (1/2) 3295RK which will be a year old in May. A good feeling to know we made the right choice when purchasing our first 5er. We talked with the sales staff about the forum and the upcoming Rally (which they were unaware of). They found it exciting that the forum was growing so much since the website address has been published in the brochures. Oh yes, we did manage to pick up a couple of the 2004 brochures. Was good to see our site address so prominent. Had to order the locking chocks for the wheels. You know it is just impossible to go to a dealership and not find something you just "have to have". That is Tom's birthday present this year, so should be here in a few days. Got home and was saddened to drop our Montana at the storage area, but happy to know we have a whole new season ahead of us.
