2016 3711FL dinette slide topper
When we bought our new Monty, it didn't come with slide toppers only drip rails install over the slides but no drip rail over the dinette slide. The dealer said that slide toppers could be installed at a later date but only on five slide and not the dinette slide because of the patio awning. It looks like there is enough room to install one on the dinette slide and was wondering if anyone has done so with 3711FL? We really don't like to leave the patio awning extended when we venture out and always retract it for safety reasons and that leaves the dinette exposed to tree debris and the like, so then I still have to go up on the roof to clean it before retracting the slides when we move on.

I fail to understand why no topper could be on the dinette slide. Surely one of the 3711fl owners will chime in soon. John

I did a search on Internet for 3711 and found one that was for sale and it had a slide topper over the dinette slide. I don't see why you couldn't .

Yeah, I did the same thing and looked at the 3711 on RVTrader and came to that same conclusion. I will be ordering another topper tomorrow. Thanks for your responses.

I chose to only cover the other 5 slides as the dinette slide is covered by the awning when out. The awning rest right on top of the dinette slide and I felt a topper on that slide would interfere with the awning. I'm sure it could be done, but 5 toppers was expensive enough.

Just get a gutter extension for your leaf blower and blow off any debris ... that way you'll only have to listen to 4 slide toppers whopping in the wind ... Ha!
