Montana Outside Shower
The outside shower connector on our Montana uses the coiled blue line for hookup. Does anyone know where we can get a shower spray head that fits this blue line. Our dealer is telling us that they cannot find any part listed, seems like Montana would have a part number. Any help as usual is greatly appreciated.

Get an adjustable sprayer from any garden shop. The kind that goes from mist to stream. Works great and screws right on the end of the hose. Has a shower setting that is very nice, and a rain or ight shower that remind me of a light sspring shower.
I thing I paid $5.00 for mine you can get them cheaper.

Just a thought. I was having a problem finding a shower head too. I really wasn't looking that hard as we have never used ours. Anyway, when I was de-winterizing I found that our faucet assembly was leaking. I took it apart and to figure out what and where the leak was coming from I went to the local hardware store and bought a PVC adapter to fit a garden hose and a sleeve to attach to the faucet assy.
That got me to thinking that the hose adapter may be the thing to use to attach a hand shower assy with the proper PVC adapters?
BTW, that plastic faucet is not cheap: $60.

Great idea. I was wondering what to use on that hose. Seems like a sprayer would come with the Monty????

After I finally got all of my hose and the shower head stuffed back into that little box I won't let anyone go near the thing. I hope Montana starts to make this storage box a little bigger.

I was trying to use my shower on the outside also, on our 3475RL, but can not get it to put out any water. When you turn the faucet on, it leaks around it, but won't come out of hose. Is there a shut off valve for this, or do you have to have the water pump on or what. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm so happy! [IMAGE]http://www.emotihost.com/glass/2.gif[/IMAGE]
I pulled out some dryer sheets and hooked up my little outside shower with a hose and gave the nose of the Monty a hot bath and cleaned off 10million Nebraska bugs. I've never used dryer sheets or the outside shower on any prior RV before.
I guess I'm easily entertained
Filly - not sure what year you have, but it sounds like you may not have that quick connect pushed in and locked all the way (newer docking station type). There is like a ball check valve in there. If you have the older shower head type, there is a valve on the head itself (in the back).

Thanks for the info. We have a 2007 model. It does have a ball cock, but the blue hose will not fit in it no way. Is there a way to change the ball cock into just a regular faucet? I can put it in, but when you turn on the water, it just squirts all over behind the faucet handle. What are we doing wrong.

filly2,
The connection for the blue hose is the slide type on our 3400. It is hard to push in, but when pushed in the hose does snap into place.

It's dark and I haven't gone outside to try it but I think, like Bingo said, it's a slide/snap fitting. I think if you slide the collar back you should be able to insert the blue cord end and then release the collar to snap it in place.
