StreetPilot

I just bought a Garmin C550 so the D/W can relax and enjoy the trip because she doesn't like my 20 year old maps. The price on Ebay was almost $200 cheaper then we can buy them here in Canada

Don: I got a Garmin 2720 on Ebay for 360.00. Beat the price from CW by $600. I wouldn't even think about buying it up home, especially with the 14% taxes vs. no taxes in the U.S.A.

Bill, that's a really good price for the 2720. I bought one a couple of weeks ago for $499 from PC Connections and thought that a good deal. Garmin's list price on the Garmin website is $962 for the 2720.

Steve: For sure. I have been bidding on various 2720's for a while now. I guess they got all bought by people who wanted them and maybe it was because the bidding finished later at night. I don't know but I got a good deal on it. It is new in the box and has a number of accessories with it. Steves got me interested in it and I have been pricing and watching the bidding since the fall rally in Goshen.

Bill, that's probably why you have all those big bucks and I am just a poor old boy trying to make ends meet.

I picked up the Garmin C550 yesterday plugged it in and put Blue Gill's address in Bellingham, Wa. and it took me right there. When I got home I read the instructions. Very user friendly and I would recommend it to anyone. I will give it the big test when we haul our sons VW to Edmonton, Alberta on Friday. About a 14 hour + trip.
