Qwest DVD unit STUCK in Standby mode

I have a '06 3400 and my Qwest DVD/radio player (not sure which model#) was working and now is stuck in a "standby" light on mode. I have pluged and unpluged, pushed all the buttons and changed the batteies on the remote with no change..... anyone else have this happen and how to fix it short of replacing it. It has maybe 10 hours of use.

Junk it if it is out of Montana warranty. Modern electronics are pretty much throw away these days. The Quest unit is not worth repairing.

We have an '07 3400 and I just checked our Quest QR3000 and the "Standby" light is on whenever it's not in use. No problem ... works fine.

Does it work when you put in a DVD and press "play?"

No nothing works, pushing the function button with no responce from the unit.

I don't think the function button on our remote does anything either ... but the play and other stuff that I need to watch a movie or listen to a CD or the radio works, I just use the function button on the unit.
