Cleaning the attached striping

Hi all,

We have a 3610RL. There appears to be a residual build up on the striping/decals. It looks water spotted/ dirty.

Does anyone know how to clean the striping/decals to a shiny surface again?

Pic attached.

Thanks!

I used new finish on mine. Mine were destroyed by the sun. I also used a buffer with the polish. Orange pad. I have a 03 and it had never been washed or waxed when I got it. I just buffed right over the strips and the polish removed most of the crap in the strips. It didn't hurt the strips at all. I also did the front and rear caps. I got them to shine just a little. I need to bring her home and wash and wax her again.

Slow Hand....can you send a pic of the container for New Finish please? Also, what type of polisher are you using?

Thanks for your response!

Here is the polish

My buffer is a little expensive but you could get a cheaper one at Harbor freight
Here is what I have. I use it a lot on my cars. I have had itg for a few years now and it works great.

I also have one from Porter cable that works nice.
