Heater output flexible duct connections

While replacing the storage area flooring on my 2011 3400rl, I checked all heater (Atwood 8500 heater) connections since I had the rear black decorative panel off. Found three flexible exhaust lines coming from the heater. The 4" vent goes to the main furnace ducting system. One 2" duct goes to the bathroom. Don't have a clue where the second 2" duct goes. It is just hanging loose.

Called Atwood, and they said it might go into the water plumbing area to keep the PEX plumbing lines from freezing. However, the water connections are on the other side of the black decorative storage area panel, and I can't see any way or vent connection to funnel heat into that area. The only possible place to connect this 2" line would be to a small round vent that connects to the stairs. Only problem is there is no fitting on the vent to accept the heater line.

The only thing i can think of is that Keystone never attached that vent while building the unit. Any other suggestions?

Tks in advance,

Rodger

Our 2011 3100RL has the same hose loose. Keeps the underbelly warm to prevent freezing.

Yep keeps the area warm to prevent freezing. I had some work done where they he'd to drop the under belly and of course they forgot to reattach the one for the head area. One Doyle I will reattach it when I next go there.

Our 2014 Big Sky had one of the 4" flex hoses ripped in half and only being suspended by the wire of the hose, so all the heat was going into the basement. I fixed it with a 4" hard flex dryer vent hose.
