Location advice

Current summer status;
1750 miles from home, 7500' altitude
No heat, no humidity, no bugs, great fishing, great ATV riding trails, great golf.

DW wants to be closer to home in Florida panhandle, soooo, anything close to above in NC, TN, or this general area.
Not nuts but close to panic mode. Only serious suggestions accepted.

Southern Illinois won't do you any good, 1200 plus miles from Florida, great fishing, good ATV riding trails, great golf, tons of heat/humidity, and bugs you could saddle and ride.
