Indicator light on my water heater

I wired in a light for my water heater element power supply. I used some left over Christmas lights, a license plate light and hooked the power to the same outlet from my timer.
Just wanted to know when it is heating water. I have the timer kick on 3 times a day.

What a great improvement Ozz! And speaking of electrical, in a previous post you added some indicator lights to let you know when the outside lights were on. My thoughts are if it would be possible to just replace the toggle switches with ones with indicator lights built in? I'm just not sure what the voltage is at the mounting panel? All of the 12v verses 110v is a bit confusing. Not sure when you need to use 110 or 12v. Any thoughts on this... ? And thanks again for all your wonderful ideas! f.y.i. I have my sliding screen escape window for our 2007 3400rl on order. Gotta get some air in the bedroom!

Good going, Dennie. Yes, you can use those switches, I think Michael; Snfexpress did so. They would be the 12 volt kind. His post is not too far back.
You will love that window, revisit my slide show when it comes in.
