Laminate floor in kitchen?

We are considering putting the laminate wood floor in the kitchen/living room area of the RV. I know this has been covered before, but as usual the "search" function comes up empty. Any problems with the slide out dragging on the wood? That is my primary concern. We found some nice simulated wood vinyl, but I think the strips will be easier to work with than a large sheet of vinyl.

Idid mine on our 99 2750 two years ago. Hard part was cutting out carpet and used an "undercut"
saw to remove material under slide out. I did a post on this last year as well as others. DW wants me to do the same on our 3000 as it sure is easierto keep clean

Will,

I remember someone on the MOC Forum has done this but I don't remember who. We had it done in our rig. But it was covered under warranty. Took them about half a day to remove and install (the old laminate had gotten scratched because of a defective kitchen slide).

We have it in our Monty. Put it in a couple of years ago. The first year we didn't have any problem with the slide. This past spring, we did have a problem with the very back corner of the slide scaping the floor. This is where we always sit, so I don't know if we have caused the slide to settle or not. We really like the laminate flooring. It is so much easier to clean than the carpet.

The hardest part is taking up the carpet and linoleum. Make sure you get all of the staples out of the sub flooring.
