Light bulb types

I'm going thru the 3402RL(2014) to map all the light bulb types so I can get some spares or get the LED versions. All of my fixtures have stickers giving the voltage and bulb type making it easy, but I have one fixture that doesn't have the sticker. That fixture is the one over the bedroom sink which has 3 bayonet style bulbs. The bulbs don't have any markings either. It appears to be the same type as Type 912 or 921 used in other places.

Anyone know for sure??

Jim, see if you have the wattage on the bulb base. And are they single contact or 2 contacts on the bulb base.

The bulbs are NOT a bayonet base...they are wedge style and you can use either the lower wattage 912 or the higher 921. Depends on how much light output you want. The fixture probably came with 921 bulbs. There is also a clear plastic sticker on the center fixture that tells you that you can use either bulb...but not anything that exceeds what the 921 draws. I'll bet Michael & Kat sell a LED replacement. Maybe they will chime in to help. They're good people.

Just some of advice for those replacing their incandescent bulbs with LED. I tried to make it too complicated. The wedge bulbs are easy. The standard Wedge 18 LED (912/921) from FilamentFree.com work fine and are not too bright for the applications in my 3402RL. Almost the same brightness; maybe a touch brighter or maybe it's just the color difference in the light; the LED is a little whiter than the old bulb. I like the color.

However, I over thought the 1141/1142 type bulbs and that caused me some confusion. It's really about the base connector. Some of the bulbs in my RV have the 2 contacts on the base and some have 1. Don't put the wrong one in the wrong fixture because you blow a fuse and then you have to remember where you stored the spare fuses.

It's so nice to be able to touch the bulb now with the LED and they are barely warm. The old incandescent ones would remove skin they were so hot.

Thanks to Michael for his help in setting me up with the LEDs.
