Awning adjustment.

Dumb question. If I adjust the arms on my awning do I need to extend them back out before rolling it up?

If I understand what you're asking, I never have.

Talking about the lower arms with the adjustment knob. Is this what you are thinking?

Yup, I just made sure they were loose and rolled it up. I learned a trick from some class A folks and if it's windy I only extend mine about half way and that keeps them from bouncing much and still will shade the side during the heat of the day. When I pull them back in, I just loosen (if I had them tight( and pull the awning back in.

I always make sure the lock nut is not tight, if it is windy, pull the awning in and be safe, arm replacements aren't cheap, LOL I know from past experience.
