FYI
You have two Ice Maker valves. One in the back of the Pantry and one under the sink. Check the one under the Pantry for leaks. I have a 2018 3791RD and my son has a 3790RD. We are very happy with our units. We hope you have many happy times in the future with your new adventure.

BillandLonda great news and wonderful photos. I should have photos of our new 3791 this week. Been raining so much here in TN that I haven't pulled out of the shed for it maiden photo op! Besides we are still trying to get all our junk straightened up. Maiden voyage coming up in 3 weeks.

By the way. Have you found an icemaker drain under the RV for winterizing? My manual says there is one but I haven found it. Good luck and safe travels.

If your fridge is in a slide look under for a flexible supply line like going to a faucet. Unscrew it to drain / run rv antifreeze through. I leave mine unhooked till spring.

We also have a 2018 3791 RD and had a water leak at the valve in pantry. I found it to be a improperly installed compression fitting on the plastic tubing. I installed a new one properly and presto no more leak.

When we took possesion of our 3731 with the residential fridge I could not get the icemaker to work. It seemed to be on but no water. After tracing water lines down thinking I would find it pinched somewhere I located the second shut off valve behind the counter drawers. When I turned it on I got a shower. Yes, the compression fitting was improperly installed at the factory and their solution was to just shut it off. Like Shovelhead, just a five minute fix and alls well.

Also on mine the drain is in the middle of the underbelly. Just pex sticking through the coroplast. I intend to run a length of pex tube to the side with a valve so I don't have to crawl underneath each time I need to drain.

3791rd

We have the 20th Anniversary model and I couldn’t find the second ice maker valve. Some said it was under the pantry but not on ours. I finally took the screws out of the back panel of the lower cabinet to the right of the oven. Low and behold I found the valve only to also find a water leak from a wrongly installed brass ferral on the small line going to the fridge. I was not a happy camper.

That must be a popular joke at the factory, Improperly installing the feral. it just does not happen by anyone knowing a little about what they are doing. But it happened on mine and several others on this site.

Yup, I got a shower in mine when I finally found the second shut off and turned it on. Miss set feral. Five minute fix that they couldn't seem to do at the factory.

A bit curious about something here....We have a 'new to us' 2018 3791RD & guess what....we have a water leak when the icemaker supply valve is turned on under the sink

Sorry for the hijack but I don't see an obvious way to get to the ferrule area, I can see where the PEX goes to a smaller size but no way to pull the pantry back panel? Thanks

BTW- congrats to BillnLonda on the new camper, I thought he posted a picture of our rig, same setup except for a 6.0 F-350 same colors though

If your memory is anything like mine you might be causing more problems than you want doing that. if you travel in freezing temps and do not winterize as you are just passing through the added per might freeze causing a leak. All the internal piping would be fine but that extended piece is open to the elements.

If you can see where the pex transitions to 1/4 tubing, that would likely be where the leak is. Or is it that you can see it but not reach it? Mine was behind the drawers next to the range. You can pull them out and flip a little tab on the slide and pull the drawer right off the slide to access what's behind.
Good luck. A leak is a real pain and you have to keep working on it till you get it fixed or you'll have serious trouble down the road.
