2009 2955 decal/ Graphic

I had an oops moment a few years ago on my rig. On the street side, at front upper area there is a "swoop'" that crosses the bedroom slide. I scratched a 12" section on the slide of this decal. I have looked at quite a few sites for rv decals with no luck. Also a local decal/graphics shop with no luck. Not sure if anyone had done a replacement of decals and had MAYBE this one that was not used. I called Burlington who supplied Keystone at the time with the decals, but not any more.
I would be open to suggestions if anyone has used a particular decal supplier with success.

Thanks to all who may respond

I have seen people try to use paint where the decals are messed up and try to match the colors the best they can. it isn't perfect but it looks better than the scratch.

You could try contacting Keystone Customer Service. They may be able to get a new Graphic for you.
Not sure if he is still there, but Doug Huffman [mailto:huffd@keystonerv.com] helped me.

You can find a number of decals on eBay by searching for Montana decals. I know the front decals and MONTANA are available. Don’t know about “swooshes”.

Thanks to all for the input on decals! I have tried Burlington with no luck.
I will take another look at e-bay as I have seen so there.
I will check out the paint option.
Yes I do tow a jeep behind the 5er.

Thanks to all !

In the recent Trailer Life magazine, there was an article about a California company that make decals from photos of your RV. They also remove and replace them. Just a suggestion. Let us know if anything works out.

Timandsusan,
Thank you, I did see that article as well. However I think this option was for full body replacement. I was looking for one particular decal to replace as a result of me scratching it. I have found a local company that will do a paint match and put paint in an aerosol can. For 15.00 I can handle that.

There are many companies that make match decals from a photo. Guy had it done in FL. The local CW collision center makes them also. Not really expensive...

I contacted a local graphic shop for my decal issue. They said they could make them in large 8 foot x 8 foot sizes like you see on the side of buses and commercial vehicles. I have not followed up but may explore again. Big issue is removing the old decals!

I had scratched the lower nose decal on a tree branch. When having slide toppers installed at CW I asked the body shop foreman about replacing it. He said no problem, it will only take a few minutes and a bit of material, no charge.

Keystone does not make the graphics and does not keep any in stock in fact Keystone never had a parts department other than what they kept in stock at the service center for repair of RV's.Parts come from the vendor. The service center was adding a large addition to the service center as noted at the fall rally and we were told they were going to add a parts department.

Most graphic shops can reproduce the Montana graphics most of them are off the shelf . We live very close to Lake Erie and there are a lot of shops that do marine graphics around which also means they are a much better quality graphic
