Galley tank drain rod gone

Hello All, After surviving the Nebraska blizzard and arriving at our summer work camping job in Montana, I noticed the galley tank pull handle was gone. I don't know if it was stolen or just unwound itself and came out. I suspect the latter. I cut out a small section of the underside and with some vice grips am able to drain the tank. Trouble is I can't find a replacement rod. I can probably come up with something in a good hardware store but would like to buy the original or similar part. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

You can probably switch over to a cable pull version easier though most likly would need to change the valve as well. Amazon has this Valterra combo in 1-1/2 or 3 in - https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-TC37.../dp/B002N5L9R8

Lasalle/Bristol is the maker and they have the parts.

Bochim's post was the last straw for me! I've read way too many posts of the same thing, so for less than $2 I did this.

Thanks Guys

Appreciate the replies. Greg, Trekwood looks like a good website that I have not come across. Thanks again all. Steve
