New guy here...want to use 2007 342PHT for hunting season

Hello all, I am not new to rv's though it has been awhile. However I am new to trying to use one later into the year. We have not even taken delivery yet but hope to buy November 4th.
Here is our situation,
Our site has 30 amp electric. Water is still on, but will probably be turned off by then. (Extremely warm fall so far here in Western NY. No sewer, weekly pump out but not anymore this year. We would like to get through as much of hunting season as possible though we will only be a few days at a time or weekends. Still have to work ugh. So, if I fill up the fresh water tank part way The owner said I could use a sewer tote to dump at the dump station. If I leave the heat on say 45 or 50 when we are not there would the water lines be ok if it stays mild?My other idea is to fill about how much water we would need for our stay and empty the tank and blow out the water lines after each stay. Not really looking forward to toting sewage to the dump station but with gloves and boots and care I can handle it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
The campground has porti potties but it would be about 100 yds in the night each way
Anyway just thought I'd say hi and seee if there is any ideas out there or advice that I am all wet.

Welcome to MOC not knowing all about your rig it should have heat to the under belly from the heater to keep the water lines from freezing and mite even have tank heaters?
we use ares all year long here in the great north west and have never had a problem.

According to the 2007 sales brochure I found online it is supposed to be fully insulated. It does not have a "Polar" package sticker but my understanding from the sales brochure is that all Montana Mountaineers are basically Polar packaged lol. I do not believe that it has tank heaters but they are definitely getting installed, probably just not this year.

Our 342PHT has the heated underbelly. We have lived in it with temperatures in the teens.

Wrap all exposed piping and your tank areas with heat tape and plug them in you should be able to use your tanks for about a week to 10 days. Those porta dump wagons will keep you busy but you can use them if you must. I would wait till I got to a major gas station with sewer dumps but feel free to use your equipment till that time. We are fully skirted and insulated but we full time in -40 weather. Good luck with your deer tags!

We are from Upper Michigan and during hunting season with cold cold weather we used the water and toilets but no solids in the black tank and added a few gallons of anti freeze to the tanks. We left the heat on but at 60 or higher. No chance taking here, we rather use more lp or electric then have a chance to break lines.

Hunting in Texas in our RV

We hunt in northern Texas in our RV. (MUCH warmer). When we leave each weekend, we dump tanks & water heater, turn water off, run pink stuff in all water lines and leave our thermostat at 37. Temps down to low-teens & still OK.
Don’t forget to put pink stuff in washing machine lines, even if you don’t use it.
