Fantastic fan with only one direction

The new fan we had installed ...very nice I might add, only goes in one direction...vents out only. There is no switch to bring air to the inside. I've never seen this before, as every unit I had before the fan vented both in and out...Has anyone seen this, is this normal...an extra option that I forgot to order? Didn't see an option for this...thought it was strange...maybe I could put a seperate switch in?
