replace dinnette for booth
Has anybody replaced their table and chairs with a booth? Are you happy with doing it?

I did just the opposite. I replaced a booth with table and chairs in a SOB. I wanted to be able to adjust the distance from table to chair.

When we bought our SOB it had a dinette, but because of a problem they could not fix easily, I opted to by the twin with the exception that it had a booth. We are both glad we did. Although, there is just the two of us, when we had the Hanna 3400RL our son, daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters stayed with us for about 5 days in New England. We had to set up air mattresses every night for the two little ones and it was crowded in the LR of the 3400. With the booth, it lets down into a small bed, just the right size for a few years for the little ones, while mom and dad have the sofa bed, and gram and gramps have the the king. Just makes for a better living arrangement. The dinette is very aesthetically pleasing.
Just my humble opinions.

Our last camper (SOB) had a booth. After years of use, it developed a "hole" in the foam where I sat. When we went looking for a new unit, a table and chairs was a given. We love it.

Our other rig has a booth and the Monty has a table and chairs. Bernie has already built me a bench on one side of the table. The storage is just too priceless.

I wanted a booth to store my beer and have an extra bed. Sallie wanted a table and chairs so we compromised, we have a table and chairs.

I have seen several (at tailgates) where individuals have replaced their chairs with bench type seating; one had even built a bench with storage underneath. In fact, I seem to recall seeing a dining room set at Nebraska Furniture Mart in KC that came with two chairs and then a bench for the opposing side.

Clutch. Like I always say, I'm the boss as long as I do what the dear wife says.

DW likes the bench seat also.
I have a sign in "my room," that says, "I am master of my house. Whatever my wife says, shall be done."
