I'm pulling similar weight with my 3500. Your door sticker will give your exact specs but, on the surface, it looks doable.

I'm pulling a 37" with a short bed, my hitch is a B&W Companion slider with the gooseneck in my bed, so yeah it can be done, and I don't have any problems. In this pics i have a 37" 5th wheel and as you can see on where it sitting in the bed.

Okay here is my hitch in my SB so now you seen where the 5th wheel sit in th truck and you have seen the hitch itself so it can be done, but now if you just want a LB just use this as food for thought.

I've pulled 43' and now 41' with a Ford sb. Ford is 6'9 not 6'6 and have a B&W slider. Onlyneeded it 3 times in 4 years and glad it was there.

Fully loaded, our 5th wheel comes in at a little under 14k lbs and we have no problem pulling it through the mountains with our 1 ton SRW diesel Ram.

I've used a 3500 SRW short-bed Ram since 2013. I bought it to pull my then new 3400RL. Never once an issue. Love the truck. I married them together using the Andersen Ultimate hitch. I averaged about 12,000 lbs. when pulling.

I pulled mine with both a short bed 2500 Ram and now have a Ford 350 SRW with the 6.75 bed. Using a Demco autoslide hitch still as well and it works great. Started with a manual slide and every time I would slide it, my wife and dog would freak out from the slam as it hit each end. Plus, it was a pain to slide and caused me stress. Auto slide is the way to go with a shorter bed so you never have to think about it!!

I have pictures I can send of how tight of a turn I could make with my short-bed, my Montana, and the Andersen hitch. Maybe not 90, but probably 85 degrees. Don't get hung up on how tight of a jack turn you can make. I have NEVER in 6 years of pulling had to get that tight to where contact with my truck became worrisome. If you get into those kinds of turns, you need to reassess your parking approach methods or the places you are parking . Besides that, those kinds of turns are really hard on trailer suspensions and tire sidewalls. You are literally dragging tires sideways doing that nonsense.

I totally agree on that , i have a 6.5 foot bed with no troubles with turning my 2018 310RE or my older square nosed camper i had. But avoid those really sharp turns its hard on the suspension, axles,tires etc.

Most SRW 1t pickups should be able to handle that weight, and more. But follow other posters' advice, run all the numbers to make sure.

We pull a 38' with a SRW f-350. I use a B&W Patriot 18k slider. Works great.
