Custom bed for bonus room in 3950BR

We're full-timing in a 2018 3950BR. Our son is 15, so the bonus room is his.

Initially we had planned for him to sleep in the loft, and he agreed this would work, but it took almost no time to realize that wasn't a viable option. For a while he slept on the fold out bed in the room, but folding it back to make the room usable was a major chore. The bed was also pretty poor.

Lately he's been sleeping just on the loveseat in there, but that's also not a good long term solution.

So, we found a better one. Met a guy at the county fair up here who does custom bed solutions. He took the measurements, gave us quotes and ultimately delivered this:



Fits perfectly in the slide, which closes without any conflict. Kid reports that the mattress is quite comfy. He also built it so that the front cloth flap can be lifted to allow for storage underneath. 10 year warranty on the entire thing. (We passed on the 20 year mattress as it just isn't necessary for our situation.)

Quite pleased with the result.
