Converter
We have a 2005, 3400 RL Montana. Can anyone tell me where the converter is located? We had 2 new batteries installed and the batteries lose the charge after 3 to 4 days.
Actually had to buy a charger to charge the batteries while we were on the road. It sounds like the converter is the issue. Anyone else have this problem and how did they resolve it?
Thanks,
Jim & Marge

Mainer,
You may be correct in identifying the converter as the problem. And there have been a few folks who have reported having the same problem as you. The resolution has been to get a new computer. I do not know the location of the converter on your unit but someone will stop by shortly to let you know.
We do not have a battery switch on our older unit but I understand your rig may have one. Make sure it is in the correct position to charge your batteries.
Good luck and let us know how you resolve the problem.

I haven't looked but I'm told the converter is behind the breaker panel.
I'm also a Mainer. Plan on coming to our rally this summer at Shore Hills Boothbay

In our 07, the converter is over the toilet behind all the breakers.

Did you check the circuit breaker? and Fuses? Quick way to check convert is putting out, turn the disconnect off, and see if the DC lights still work. Also you can disconnect the negative from the battery going to frame, and see if the DC lights still work. Don't know about your model, but my Convert is under the stairs.
