Traveling from central ND to El Paso TX

We are travelling from central ND to El Paso, TX in May and were wondering what the best route is? Has anyone done that trip?

Not the exact route, but if you can get to I25 in Colorado or Wyoming, take it to just east of Santa Fe. Go onto US 84, and then onto US 54 right into El Paso. These are both good highways and interesting scenery. High desert, gentle hills but still hills.
Also, note there are few RV parks in El Paso and from reviews only one is decent. Some are about 4 blocks from Mexico. Nothing North of I10. Unless you have military connections and then the park by the base is pretty nice but no TV and weak WiFi.

There is a decent PA park in El Paso right on I10 - Mission RV. You can cut over to I25 from the Black Hills. Watch the cross winds along I 25.

If you go the Mission route, be careful!! There is a Mission RV park and a Mission Trail mobile home and RV Park (which is almost in Mexico and low rated). Don't book the wrong one!
