Fridge Thermometer.

Hi all, in my last rig I had a battery operated thermometer with the sensors directly wired to the LCD display, the sensor cables were run under the door seals on the hinge side to both compartments.
It worked very well but the installation with the exposed cables left it looking unfinished.
While looking for one for the HC I found one with wireless transmitters by Acurite.
Do you have or had one and what is your opinion on it?
Would you recommend a different brand/type?
What life were you getting from batteries?

Cheers.

When we still had the absorption fridge, we got about a month on the regular batteries in the fridge...but for the freezer they make batteries for operation in those low temperatures. Once we went to them, the battery life in the freezer sender went way up.

Thanks mudchief and jcurtis.
I’d seen the makers note regarding battery types for the freezer. Thanks for you’re feedback on that 👍
