We're on our third unit with Hydraulic and only one problem with a rear sensor, but system could still be leveled manually until the sensor was replaced.

Had I known about the Electric No Control Level system issues, I would have never bought it.
If Version 3.0 is so bad I hate to imagine how bad 2.0 was.
Sad part is I know an electric level system can function as well as a hydraulic one. Just not sure one can do it at a price point cheaper.

How do you use the leveling jacks to change a tire.

I leave the rig hooked to the truck. Go into manual mode and put the front jacks down to help keep some of the weight off of the truck, then lower the rest of the legs, alternating until the unit is off the ground.

We bought a 'Rapid Jack', but have not had to use it. I think I will try it out just to experiment.

Level up works well but I also carry a jack as there are times on a non level surface that its a challenge to get all tires off the ground. Would not depend on road side service - particularly in the west with large areas without cell service to call anyone.

Hi all, there is a good reason why it isn’t recommended using the hydraulic levelling system as a hoisting system for changing a wheel etc.
A hydraulic cylinder fitted to an excavator or even an elevated work platform, anything designed to lift and support a certain load, generally has what is called a pilot check valve fitted directly on Each cylinder. This valve prevents the release of fluid from the cylinder, which may be holding a load, should a hydraulic line or hose be damaged.
On Lipperts levelling systems for example, there is only a Single pilot check valve and it is located in the pump assembly housing.
So if you blow a hydraulic line while you’re coach is suspended with a wheel or wheels removed, the results could be very bad.
The other thing that could happen is hydraulic oil bypassing the piston seals from the high to low pressure side of the levelling jack.
The chances of these things happening are remote but possible.

Agree. We have used the system to raise the RV but only when on a level surface and we still place hydraulic jacks under the frame just in case.

Use hydraulics to raise my Monty but always use jack stands for safety.
