Broken Ladder

So....a problem not caused by Keystone but by my negligence. I keep my trailer in a large warehouse with big steel beams along the outside wall. While putting it back in storage I backed the top of the ladder into one of the beams, collapsing the top 3 feet of one side of the ladder and breaking the tubing in three places.
Thankfully, no other damage to trailer, but almost fainted when told the replacement cost with shipping.
I plan to put it in myself at this point, but may have my dealer do it when it gets here. I have been backing the trailer into the same spot for 7 months by myself with no problem. From now on my wife will go to act as a spotter!

I've always found that the lessons I've learned the hard way are generally expensive. But I usually only have to learn it once.

This is closing the barn door after the horse got out, but if it's your building, nail some tire stops to the floor (ideally 4x4 inches but 2x4's would work too.). If it's not your building, ask if you can paint some lines on the floor or use tape for a guide. One last method, measure from the wall to where the tires stop, leaving extra room, and throw a 4x4 down at that measurement next time. Mark the measurement on the 4x4 so you'll remember it.
