Front bedroom slide leaking

Had a small leak after a couple of months. Leak is on the floor at the front side. Primarily when wind is blowing the rain. The dealership fixed it, indicated he trimmed a piece of the seal. Problem reoccurred a couple of weeks ago. Carpet is again wet. You can look at the area of the slide while raining, can't seem to tell where it is leaking. The underside of the slide is not wet. Can't tell if it is right at the bottom corner. Anyone experience a similar problem and know of a remedy?

Had a leak in our 2012 3150 this summer. Rained and woke up to water in front of shower and carpet was wet in slide out on same side. We put the slide in the next night when it rained and no more leaking.. Totally disappointed in a 2 year old unit leaking. We keep it at our lot for the summer so will take it in for repair when we bring it home.. Hoping it's not a big expense.

Just answered a question like this on another forum. Check the 4" bottom trim piece of your bedroom slide. Sometimes they don't do a good job of sealing that lap. Apply more caulking to that area and that might fix your problem. Had the same leak and found out through other members that it is a common spot to leak. Recaulked it and no more water in closet or carpet wet by shower.

We found the rubber seal along the top of the bedroom slide folded half in half out leaving a small opening. Even with slide toppers water managed to blow beneath it and run across the top down the side of the slide and onto the carpet. I look for that condition on all the slides now and haven't had any problems since.

We had that problem on both sides of the slide. Recaulked the top of the 4" trim peace and it stopped. Started again this summer. Went out and checked, caulk was old and cracked. Pulled the old caulk out and replaced it. Two nights ago pouring rain and 50+ mph winds blowing directly on the slide. No leaks, although very tough to sleep.
