Use the spare? Seriously any Locksmith should be able to open it and make a new key.

Hate to let the 'secret' out of the bag, but most dealers have sets of RV keys or at least a master. I also found another person's key worked for a class C I had years ago when this happened to me. I think there are only about a dozen or so different ones.

From what others have said, I believe the storage keys are all the same - or maybe only 7 versions. The door keys are more unique tho.

The lock that keeps the handle from being pulled will be open-able with a dealer master key. The lock that moves the dead-bolt is a different story.

Do you have a laundry chute in the hallway? If so, it is likely a simple matter to go in through the basement and up through the laundry chute to get inside, ....unless you have taken measures to make the laundry chute burglar-proof.

Both our car and our truck have spare keys to the Monty and other things on a ring in the glove compartment and I keep a spare flat key that will open the truck door in my wallet. Once I get into the truck i have a key hidden there that will run it. First big Chicago date when I was a kid I dropped the keys to my Mustang down a storm drain. Been real skittish about keys ever since.

My mobile repair guy has a master, maybe call a couple and see if they'll stop by. If they are already in the area they may be happy to assist without a service charge to gain future business.

When I discovered last year that master keys are available and about 99% of these units I immediately went out and got what I needed for a security night chain.

Mobile locksmith is probably the best answer.

The DW accidently locked our key inside ours several years ago. Fortunately the basement door was unlocked and we have the laundry basket under a trap door that goes into the basement. I had to crawl thru the basement, push the basket and door up, and climb up thru the small hole to get inside and unlock the door.
Now I have three sets of keys in the truck, and another set in the car.

First of all and easiest of all is have spares made, the manufacture will send you as many as you want for much less than a Locksmith will charge you to make or that 150.00 service call. If a person has that problem loosing there keys then he or she should get a shower curtain hook and put a set of vehicle and RV keys on it and find a wire harness under the truck and attach the keys there for emergency access up and coming. There are many hiding places for keys and don't use that magnet hide a Key they always fall off some how.
As for the going through the laundry drop that will work so long as the door is closed to the rest room, otherwise it prevents the access into the rig. I always leave my rest room door open to prevent easy access when in storage.
