Does anyone remember who did the side marker light mod to turn it into a flashing blinker? I want to tackle that project next. I have been having issues with the search feature since the forum site went down. Thanks

Oz came up with the mod. But, it will only work with incandescent lights because the flasher is mechanical versus electronic.

Just finished changing out my tail lights for LED lights. I also replaced the back-up lights with additional Tail/Stop/Turn Signal lights. A lot brighter and better attention getter. Love it!

The picture shows the comparison with just one side changed out and just the tail lights turned on. The brake/turn lights are twice the brightness.

Thanks guys for the ideas and info!!

I would love to change out the back-up lights with red, but make them running/brake only. Any ideas?

Ken-- Check with Cruzin2! I think he did both the brake/signal light and the backup lights! If I'm not mistaken he also did the running lights and somehow set them up with his turn signals! Check with Larry and see what he has to say!

I also would love to add a larger LED red light to the rear side of my rig. So that when I am either making a turn or trying to change lanes cars that are on my rear side will see what I am about to do. Just want running light and turn single no brake light..

Brake and turn signals are the same circuit, there may be an isolator available to accomplish what you are trying to do but none that I am aware of.
