Toilet Replacment

After 8 years we thought it was time to replace our Thetford with riser. Purchased a Dometic model 310 China Bowl 18 " seat height.
I did have to move the water supply line. We have been pleased with this mod and highly recommend.
Purchased at Tweedys.com on sale for $159.00 with free freight

We just had one installed at the Service Center and really like the height, the seal actually sealing and the circular rim flush.

Happy throning...

Ken, thanks for posting. I've been wanting to replace. I just ordered from C/W on sale for 149.00 plus 5.00 shipping. Is it hard to do yourself? Does it require a wax ring? Any advise will be appreciated.

Ray, The toilet will come with a rubber ring. First make sure your Flange is screwed to the floor with at least 4 wood screws this will help with rocking. Two issues i had the base of the toilet will sit right where the water supply comes up from the basement.and on the old unit the connection was verticle the new is horizontial.will need a 90 fitting

So I had to drill another hole to the basement to make things easer I used a flexable water supply line for a faucet they are 3/4 inch residential toilet is 7/8

I connected the supply line to the PEX tubing in the basement with Flair-it brand fitting that I purchased from the local hardware fitting is the same as the OE

If you like you can run the Pex direct to the toilet again you can purchase a 90 degree ball calk Flair-it brand fitting. This way you only need to drill 1/2 in hole vs 1"

I used a crome plate cover and silicone to seal the hole
