The very nice Lonnie B

We had some possible abnormal tire wear we noticed in Amarillo Texas, I called my buddy Lonnie and asked him about it. Lonnie runs a tire store in-around Clovis New Mexico, we chatted about it and I got good info. Well, that evening Lonnie and his beautiful bride drove 75 miles (one way) up to Tucumcari new Mexico where we spent the night, to check the tires for us so we wouldn't worry, and visited with us. We appreciated his thoughtfulness and enjoyed the visit. Great people out here in the West!
Lonnie, you are truly a good man.

Thanks for the kind words buddy, but I know I did nothing you wouldn't have done yourself if the tables were turned. We enjoyed our visit with you and Sue, wish we would have had more time though. It was great to finally meet you face to face.

X2! You're the best for helping a fellow MOCer. I would expect nothing less.

Just curious, what was the decision about the tire wear?

At present we are thinking slight under inflation. Ozz used the Goodyear Load/Inflation chart to determine the correct inflation pressure for the load his tires are carrying, which was the right thing to do, but the chart isn't always 100% correct for all applications. Ozz increased his inflation pressure to 105 psi from the 100 psi recommended by the chart. The wear was on the outside ribs of the tires, both ribs and all 4 tires.
