Jim,
OK. You can stop now! We don't need or want any more shakes down in this part of the country. We're headed that way on Monday so get everything calmed down would you?! Later, Dennis

Got to hand it to you Ozz, join the local emergency group and then squeeze a couple of practice quakes out of faults they haven't even named yet. That's some talent or a real in with the big guy.

Jim. In the 80s and 90s I spent a lot of time in Palm Springs. My job took me there. I live in the volcanic NW. I never feared the quakes or the volcanoes. Just relax and enjoy.
If I remember right Thurs night was street market night in PS.
We spent a month of March in Desert Hot Springs several years ago. The wind never stopped. If you just look west and the windmills are turning, the wind is blowing. I hope things work out and you enjoy your stay there.
If you are ever in the NW in the summer you are invited to stay at the rlwhit CG. Power, water, wifi, tall trees, nice temps, great food. Sorry no dump station.

Ozz,
I was in Candlestick Park when the Loma Prieta earthquake hit. The entire stadium rippled. There was no panic and we all just rode it out. In the 20 years that I lived in California, that was the only quake that I felt. Enjoy the ride.

Yep, Sue and I left before it hit, we are in Tonopah Arizona and and lovin it. Stop and see us on the way back from the 'Q'!
Our RV Resort was in Desert Hot Springs, on a hill, no shopping close, not a good area at all 25 miles from Palm Springs, the road was under construction by the highway, took forever to get to town, I rode my bicycle every place around the campground, but on a hill, I was limited. The lady in the park model next to us had two barking dogs, bark, bark, bark all day long and half the night, I complained, did no good, there were 95% park models there, people were 'clicky' so long story longer, we bolted for the door after 3 days.
Before I left, I went over to the fault line, sprayed a half-can of WD-40 on the ground and did a 'Quake-dance'.
a day later.... Quake. I'm just sayin...

Ozz,
Sorry you have moved on. I was hoping to hookup with you on our way to the Salton Sea. Some other time. Enjoy AZ. Dennis
