water leak by refrigerator
During recent heavy rainstorms we have gotten significant water come into our 2015 3582rl. The water shows up on television floor I front of the refrigerator and in the storage compartment under the fridge. It looks like the water is coming from the fridge area. I have looked at the outside vents and don't see anything out of the ordnary.
Has anyone else experienced this, or have ideas of how I can fix it before taking the unit to a dealer? Any advise is appreciated!
Thanks,
Dennis B.

If installed in a slide, water could be coming in via a slide leak. I would check to make sure your frig drain line is working, even though you described as rain related. And maybe relooking those vents for proper sealing and caulking, with emphasis at the bottom vent and wall, a common source for water entry. And a couple of folks have posted that their vents were installed upside down.

We had one freak rain storm where the wind was blowing the rain sideways. A significant amount of water came in through the refrigerator vents. I haven't had a problem since. Its been over two years and numerous major storms. If yours is just about every rain, I would check the slide seals and caulking. The previous Cougar that I had leaked through the window caulking when it was brand new.

This used to be a frequent problem and there is a fix using small aluminum angle that you can get at the hardware and caulk. Only takes a few minutes and works.
Try the search feature on this forum and you should find it (*with pictures).
Search "refrigerator leak" and see topic about heavy rain leak.

The aluminum angles worked for me. However, when tropical storms blow through the area, the side ways rain still gets through a bit. But only once in the past two years.

I had a similar problem and the problem was dried up caulk around the hot water heater . The pressure relief would pass water and, rather than run down the exterior of the trailer, it came back into the trailer floor as the caulk along the base of the hot water heater had dried up and allowed the water to run back into the trailer.

My rear A/C unit was leaking water through the return air vents when it rained and the A/C was running (do a search on this topic)... right onto the floor by the tv and fridge. If I had not seen it drip during a heavy rain, I probably would have thought it was coming in from the slide or fridge.
