Trailer wheel bearing lube...caution
On the road almost a year. Just had the bearings inspected/repacked. We are full time, so no tools (nor the expertise) to do it ourselves. No problems with the bearing job. I did recall, however, the "Warning" note to check the wheel bolt torque values 50 or so miles when first towing ...figured this was a tire removal, same deal...Yupp... they missed one! One bolt was already backed off 1/4 inch, rest were about heavy finger tight only...would have been interesting in a hundred miles or so!!
Moral to the story....check torque values soon after any tire removal, even if a reputable shop/individual does it.
