We Are Here At Last!!! Pictures

Hello Gang! Well we made it and what a wonderful trip it was except for the bad roads. The Montana did get a workout and I kept waiting for things to happen, like the wheels to fall off or black streaks on the carpet or some of the other things that I had read about happening to others. I just new I would have water come in under the slides when we went through a bad storm but that did not happen either.

The two things that did happen was our fault and that won't happen again. We left the water filter hooked up and it got shook around so bad that it broke off and caused a bad water leak. Had to replace the whole faucet and that cost 56.00, and of course the slide Boo-Boo.

I have to tell you it was wonderful to travel all day and then get hooked up and be home in my Montana.

I did see lots of Montanas on the road and even one in the same park that we were in but we was pulling out very early so did not get to meet them.

All in All Everything went great and would I buy another Montana???

You bet I would, I have to say it again ' I love my Montana"

This is in Elko,Nevada on December 1, 2004 We have just hooked on.

This is in Hattiesburg,MS at Shady Cove RV Park On December 8,2004. A big change .

What can I say this is the life.

Linda and Walt, we are so happy for you! I know you've been talking about this trip for a long time. And we're glad it went well (well, reasonably well!). As for the filter, I don't know what you use but we have a Brita filter on the faucet. When we get ready to pull out Vicki pops off the canister part and leaves the base attached, for just the reason you explained.

Hope you now can enjoy your destination!

Steve, That is what I had except it was a purr and it was a mess it cracked the platic connections in side. Lesson learned I will do just like vickie and remove it before pulling out.

Prairiepoodle -

Glad you are enjoying your trip. It makes those of us who have a ways to go before we can do it a little jealous. But we will get to spend at least three weeks this year in our Montana and just about every weekend - except for November to April. Continue enjoying your Montana.

Glad to hear your trip went well, Make sure you use a check list before pulling out. You will save a lot of money in the long run.
